As an organization, LeapOn is constantly adapting, evolving, and striving to impact more teens, whether by sponsoring a project or helping them discover their passion. Here are some of the questions we've encountered along the way.
Organizational Questions
What does LeapOn stand for? LeapOn stands for multiple things, but when we came up with the name, we envisioned it to stand for "Learn, Educate, Adapt, and Progress". Since then, the name has taken on a life of its own, and we often think of it including "Proficiency", "Emotional Intelligence", and "AI" for a different take on the meaning.
What are LeapOn's goals? Our goals are always changing as we take on new projects, adapt new strategies, and add new content, but the core always remains the same: to help teenagers through this critical phase in their lives by giving them the skills they need, be it behavior design or emotional intelligence.
How does LeapOn operate with projects? The main distinction is a project versus a subproject (or something that we sponsor underneath our organization). A project can be thought of as a partner, whereas a subproject will receive more direct help and promotion.
Aspirational Questions
How will LeapOn continue in the years to come? As LeapOn continues to grow and change, we hope to pass the torch to students who we have personally helped with their own projects, allowing the cycle of passion discovery to continue.
